    Hi, I’m Zoraida, a Houston-based Latina writer and the blogger behind A Tasteful Trip!

    The year was 2020, I had been laid off from my hotel sales job and I knew I had to help other hospitality individuals (like restaurant owners and their staff) that were severely impacted by the pandemic. I started this food blog to showcase Houston’s incredibly diverse restaurants, encourage locals to rediscover their city and give back to our community.

    Since then, A Tasteful Trip has expanded as a food, travel and lifestyle blog to showcase more amazing cuisines, restaurants and hotels in beautiful destinations all while giving back to the local communities.
