    HOPDODDY PARMESAN TRUFFLE FRIES

    July 13, 2020 by admin

Today is National French Fry Day! If you didn’t know, fries are my weakness right after burgers. It can be hard to find a restaurant that offers fries that are as equally delicious as the burgers, but I am so glad I tasted Hopdoddy’s juicy burgers and parmesan truffle fries for the first time back in 2013! Both are pretty popular, but here is a quick recipe of their parmesan truffle fries to taste at home – enjoy!

    Ingredients

    1 Tablespoon of Truffle Oil

    1/3 Cup of Grated Parmesan

    2 Tablespoons of Chives

1 Bag of Frozen French Fries

    Serves: 2-3 people

    Instructions

    1. Start off by adding 1/2 of the fries into the air fryer (I have the Ninja Air Fryer that I purchased at Target) at 350 Degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes or more depending on your liking.

    2. Next, in a small bowl, mix Parmesan and the chives.

    3. Remove fries from air fryer and add to a mixing bowl.

    4. Sprinkle the parmesan chives on the fries.

    5. Then, take your truffle oil (I could only find with artificial flavor at Walmart) and add to the mixing bowl.

    6. Toss all ingredients to coat the fries

    7. Lastly, repeat the steps with the other half of fries or save for later!

    A Tasteful Tip

Truffle oil has a strong taste. A small portion goes a long way!

Thank you for reading. I hope you taste these delicious fries!

  • MANGO BLACK BEAN SALSA

    June 26, 2020 by admin

Everyone loves a good salsa or dip, right? You’ll love this tasty and healthy 9-ingredient salsa that can also be a dip! This pairs well with tortilla chips and a refreshing margarita poolside on a hot Texas day.

    Ingredients
1 Can of Corn (rinsed and drained)
1 Can of Black Beans (rinsed and drained)
    1/2 Red Onion
    1 Tomato
    1 Ripe Avocado
    1 Ripe Mango
    1/2 Cup of Chopped Cilantro
    1 Large Lime
    2 Tablespoons of Salt

Serves: 4-6 people (also depends, because it’s so good that I can definitely finish this on my own)

    Instructions
    1. Start off by adding the rinsed black beans and rinsed corn into a mixing bowl.

    2. Then, add diced red onion and diced tomato

    3. Add chopped avocado and chopped mango

    4. Finely chop cilantro and add it into the bowl

    5. Cut lime and add fresh lime juice

    6. Lastly, add salt to taste

    A Tasteful Tip
To add more protein: 1 Canned Pinto Beans (rinsed and drained)
To add heat: 1 Jalapeño (finely chopped)
To taste even better: Leave in refrigerator (covered) for about 30 minutes

Will you taste this as a salsa or dip? Take photos of your salsa or dip and make sure to tag @atastefultrip on Instagram or Facebook.

    Enjoy!
